The SOG Super Bowie Fixed Blade Knife is the new version of the old classic bowie knife SOG first designed for Recon teams in the Vietnam War. These Recon teams needed a knife that could hold up to intense combat and survival situation. The exact construction and grind lines mirror the original SOG Bowie. SOG has updated the classic bowie design with a black TiNi finished to protect the blade and sharpens the appearance. The AUS 8 Stainless Steel blade holds a sharp edge and wears well during hard use. The stacked leather washer handle holds true to the original design, and give the knife a classic look. The Super SOG Bowie comes with a black leather sheath and a sharpening stone is included.
