Sons of Liberty Gun Works Broadsword L89 AR-15 Upper 14.5" .223 Wylde 13.75" Handguard

Sons Of Liberty Gun Works Broadsword Upper Complete Upper Features The Sons of Liberty Gun Works Broadsword Upper is built around a 14.5 inch precision SPR barrel chambered in .223 Wylde a chambering that accommodates both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition while improving accuracy over a standard 5.56 chamber. The barrel is threaded 5/8x24 and ships without a muzzle device letting builders install their own brake flash hider or suppressor mount of choice without paying for hardware they will replace anyway. This upper fits standard AR-15 lower receivers making it a drop-in precision upgrade for an existing rifle rather than a full build requiring a new lower. The matte black finish provides a durable non-reflective surface suited to both range and field use and it matches the finish of most mil-spec AR-15 components for a uniform look on a completed rifle. The included 13.75 inch L89 handguard uses the Drivelock lockup system pairing an extended barrel nut with tensioning crossbolts and a keyed upper receiver interface for one of the most rigid handguard mounts available in traditional two-piece AR-15 construction. Anti-rotation tabs and a stainless steel center index dowel keep the rail locked in place under recoil helping preserve a mounted optic s zero over time instead of letting repeated firing walk the handguard loose. This rigidity is especially valuable for precision shooters chasing consistent accuracy from a flat-top AR-15 platform where every source of mechanical play between the barrel and an optic or accessory directly costs group size. Builders looking to turn a standard lower receiver into a match-grade rifle will find the Broadsword Upper a proven well-engineered foundation that pairs precision barrel work with a handguard system built to hold its mounting points under hard use.
