Description
The Sons of Liberty Gun Works Liberty Charging Handle is an ambidextrous charging handle for the AR-15 platform in 5.56x45mm NATO. Its latch can be actuated from either side of the rifle, and its size and shape are designed to reduce snagging on gear or clothing during fast manipulation.
The handle has a raised lip at the rear that creates a seal at the back of the upper receiver, which disrupts gas flow back toward the shooter's face during suppressed fire. It has a black anodized finish and a standard latch profile. Installation is a drop-in replacement for a stock charging handle and requires no special tools or gunsmithing.
