Turn that boring factory AR-15 into the tricked-out hotrod it was meant to be with the Sons of Liberty Gun Works L89 Broadsword V2 AR-15 13.7" Pinned CMV 5.56 NATO Assembled Upper Receiver w/ HUX Flash Hider. This upper receiver is compatible with standard forged lowers and billet Broadsword lowers from Sons of Liberty Gun Works. The Broadsword-89 receiver features relief cuts on the face and seamlessly integrates with the attached L89 handguard to reduce rail flex and allow for aggressive bipod and barricade loading. Aluminum construction with a corrosion-resistant anodized finish means superior strength and lasting durability. This upper receiver is significantly reinforced along its entire profile to stiffen the interface between the barrel, handguard, and mounted optics, and the forward assist has been shifted forward to add clearance for left-handed manipulations of the charging handle. This barrel has 1/2x28 threads, and it comes with a HUX Flash Hider pinned and welded for improved recoil control, so you can take advantage of your favorite compatible suppressors. This chrome-lined barrel features a 1:7 twist and is button rifled for superior precision and accuracy, and it boasts a .750" gas block journal with a deep dimple for secure gas block installation. The 13.7" Liberty Fighting Barrel features 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel construction with a corrosion-resistant phosphate coating for superior strength and lasting durability. The L89 handguard features 2 integrated QD (limited rotation) sockets, as well as fast slots beneath the 12 o'clock rail for zip ties and cables, providing extra space for those who need every inch they can get. Aluminum construction with a corrosion-resistant anodized finish provides superior strength and lasting durability. This handguard also features 7 sides of M-LOK attachment slots and a continuous Picatinny top rail with engraved T-Marks for plenty of space for your favorite weapon-mounted accessories.
