Speer Gold Dot 6.5mm .264 140 Grain Soft Point 50 Count

Speer Gold Dot Features The Speer Gold Dot 6.5mm bullet is built around a manufacturing process that bonds the jacket to the lead core one atom at a time virtually eliminating the core and jacket separation that can rob a bullet of terminal performance. This uniform bond means the 140 grain soft point expands consistently and retains nearly all of its original weight after impact translating to deep reliable penetration for personal protection applications. A .571 ballistic coefficient keeps this bullet flying flat and resisting wind drift at extended range which matters to a reloader chasing accuracy. The .287 sectional density further supports penetration depth rounding out a bullet designed for serious terminal performance. At .264 inches in diameter this bullet is correctly sized for 6.5mm cartridges and reloaders should always confirm bore diameter before loading. Packaged 50 to a box these are component bullets intended strictly for handloading and are not a loaded ready-to-fire cartridge. Speer s decades of bullet-making experience back this design and the soft point construction is built for controlled accurate expansion rather than fragmentation. Reloaders building precision 6.5mm ammunition for personal defense will find this Gold Dot bullet a dependable proven choice for the bench.
