Description
The Spikes Tactical ST-T1 Tungsten Heavy Carbine Buffer is a 3 oz replacement buffer for AR-15 and AR-10 carbines. It is intended to be heavier than the standard carbine buffer, which can reduce recoil impulse and wear, and to help control bolt bounce and muzzle rise during rapid fire.
The buffer body is CNC machined from solid aluminum billet with a black hardcoat anodized finish and a laser-engraved logo. Each unit contains crushed tungsten weights and is fitted with a Mil-Spec bumper. It is sold as a 3 oz (85 g) unit with no fluid or loose weights.
It is rated for 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington, and works in other calibers that call for a 3 oz buffer.
