Springfield Armory EMP Pistol, 9mm Luger, 3″ Barrel

The Springfield Armory EMP (Enhanced Micro Pistol) is a premium, subcompact 1911-style handgun explicitly engineered around the 9mm Luger cartridge. Unlike traditional compact 1911s that simply shorten a .45 ACP frame, the patented EMP features a scaled-down frame and slidereducing the grip radius fore-to-aft by 1/8 inchto create one of the smallest, most ergonomically optimized CCW 1911 platforms in the world.
