Chambered in .30-06 Springfield with a standard 24-inch barrel, these rebuilds feature an original M1903A3 notched stock in either the Scant or full pistol-grip Type C configuration and retain U.S. Ordnance "Flaming Bomb" barrel markings, with barrel date codes ranging from pre-World War I era to World War II era depending on the replacement barrel installed during arsenal rebuild. Each rifle is built on a low serial number receiver (see manufacturer disclaimer), making it primarily of interest to collectors who appreciate historically rebuilt military firearms. Rifles are NRA rated Good or better surplus condition and may exhibit typical service wear, mixed-era components, and occasional missing parts such as the front sling swivel, reflecting their authentic military service history. The M1903 Springfield was adopted by the U.S. Army in 1903 after the Spanish–American War exposed the shortcomings of the Krag–Jørgensen rifle. Based largely on Mauser designs, it featured a stronger action, stripper-clip loading, and the powerful .30-06 Springfield cartridge. The M1903 served as the standard U.S. service rifle during World War I and remained widely used in World War II, later continuing in sniper roles through the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
