This CR-eligible M1903 Springfield rifle was manufactured by Springfield Armory in the United States and is chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The bolt-action rifle features a Springfield Armory barrel dated 1-07 with a flaming bomb stamp and good rifling still present. The receiver serial number falls within the 1906 manufacturing range of 119,001–269,450. Disclaimer - M1903 rifles manufactured in or before 1918 used receivers bolts that received improper heat treatment insufficient to contain pressures generated by firing ammunition. These parts can be brittle may fracture when fired, exposing the shooter to risk of serious injury or death.
