Spyderco Civilian SpyderEdge 4.09" VG-10 Folding Knife Black G-10

The Spyderco Civilian is a folding knife originally developed in the 1990s for plain-clothes law enforcement officers who needed a knife in situations where carrying a firearm was not practical. It is designed for concealed, everyday carry rather than general utility work.

The Civilian uses a reverse S-shaped blade with a deeply curved, full belly, intended to work like an oversized claw. The 4.09-inch VG-10 stainless steel blade is hollow-ground, has an ultra-thin tip, and is fully SpyderEdged for slicing. The satin finish has an overall length of 9.29 inches and weighs 4.8 ounces. The black G-10 handle is contoured for ergonomic grip and retention.

The knife comes with a custom curved black pocket clip mounted for tip-down carry, which keeps it low and unobtrusive in a pocket.
