Description

Spyderco Mantra 4 Assisted Opening Folding Knife 3.34in 8Cr13MoV Drop Point G10 White Handle. In the closed position a tiny sliver of the blades tang of style and performance. For those who prefer the discreet aesthetics of an all-black knife this version lowers its profile with a black-coated blade and handle hardware. Its full-flat-ground 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade is cloaked in a non-reflective black oxide coating and rides on ball bearing washers for a butter smooth action. The blade is paired with a lightweight easy-to-clean open-backed handle constructed with smooth black G-10 scales. The reverse-side scale houses a single nested stainless steel liner that forms the basis of the knifes LinerLock mechanism. To complement the blade the knifes liner reversible deep-pocket wire clip and all other handle hardware also sport durable black coatings. stands proud above the spine of the handle. A stroke of the index finger against its textured surface propels the blade swiftly and reliably into the open position. Crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel the full-flat ground satin-finished blade rides on low-friction ball bearing washers and also includes Spyderco signature Trademark Round Hole for additional opening options. The knifes open-backed handle is built with two peel-ply-textured carbon fiber/G-10 laminate scales one of which is machined to accept a nested stainless steel liner. The skeletonized liner forms the heart of the knifes sturdy LinerLock mechanism and is thoughtfully textured for easy lock release. To balance discreet carry and immediate access the Mantra 4 includes a low-profile deep pocket wire clip that is reversible for left- or right-side tip-up carry.
