Building on the legacy of Spyderco's Mantra series, the fourth-generation Mantra 4 is a sleek, stylish folding knife with an exceptionally refined front-flipper opener. In the closed position, a tiny sliver of the blade's tang stands proud above the spine of the handle. Despite its minimalist design, a stroke of the index finger against its textured surface propels the blade swiftly and reliably into the open position. Full-flat-ground from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, the blade also features a fully functional Trademark Round Hole and rides on ball bearing washers for an ultra-smooth action.
