Description
The Spyderco Metropolitan Lightweight is a non-locking folding knife in the company's SLIPIT family, designed for clip carry and one-handed opening. It uses a notched-joint mechanism and a Trademark Round Hole that can be reached with either hand. Its size sits between the UK Penknife and the Urban in the same line.
The full-flat-ground, leaf-shaped blade is made from Bohler-Uddeholm M398, a particle metallurgy stainless steel intended for high hardness and edge retention. The blade has a textured index-finger choil for added safety. The handle uses lightweight injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) scales, and the knife is finished in black with a satin blade finish.
A pocket clip allows top-of-the-pocket carry.
