The Spyderco Native 5 Clip Point is a folding knife built on the Native 5 pattern, here fitted with a satin-finished clip point blade of CPM CRU-WEAR tool steel. Its full-flat-ground blade is intended for general cutting tasks, and the satin finish is described as reducing friction during cutting.

The knife uses a back lock mechanism with a stainless steel backspacer, set between brown canvas Micarta scales that are sanded smooth. The blade measures 2.95 inches. The handle is ambidextrous, and the polished four-position hourglass clip allows left or right-side carry, tip-up or tip-down. The Micarta scales are noted to develop a natural patina with age.
