This limited-edition Sprint Run expression of it supercharges the design with a satin-finished blade crafted from Crucible CPM S90Va The Native Chief takes the highly evolved time-tested form of Spyderco iconic Native model and stretches it by about one third to create a longer even more capable cutting tool. This elite Sprint Run expression of it takes the design to even higher levels of performance with a blade crafted from CPM 15V. The sophisticated alloy composition of this steel creates an exceptionally high volume of small ultra-hard vanadium carbides. Optimized with a special heat-treating protocol created by custom knifemaker Shawn Houston the result is a blade that offers breathtaking cutting performance and edge retention. This knifes full-flat-ground blade takes full advantage of these properties and proudly features Shawn Houstons Triple B logo laser engraved on the reverse side. It is housed in a linerless handle featuring brown peel-ply-textured G-10 scales a high-strength back lock mechanism a stainless steel backspacer and a fully configurable four-position pocket clip. vanadium-enriched powder metallurgy stainless steel that provides an exceptional balance of edge retention and corrosion resistance. The PlainEdge blade of this knife is full-flat ground for low-friction edge geometry and features a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole for swift ambidextrous one-handed opening.
