Spyderco Yurco Ginunting 8.08" Plain Edge Fixed Blade Knife with Sheath

Spyderco Yurco Ginunting Features The Spyderco Yurco Ginunting draws its name from the Filipino word gunting meaning scissors a reference to its distinctive Wharncliffe style tip and concave blade profile. That profile provides exceptional leverage and cutting power while keeping the point naturally oriented for powerful thrusting a trait inherited from the traditional ginunting sword of the Visayan region. The full flat ground 9Cr18MoV blade is accentuated by a harpoon style swedge that reinforces the tip for a strong yet acute point. A satin finish gives the blade a classic polished appearance that highlights its clean lines and geometry. The full tang handle features contoured polished black G10 scales secured by eight sets of stainless steel Torx fasteners for a connection that will not loosen with hard use. An integral lower guard protects the hand during forceful cuts while a generously sized lined lanyard hole and a flared fantail butt provide a positive grip during fast manipulation. The knife ships complete with a custom molded Boltaron sheath featuring a belt mount for secure comfortable carry. At 13.02 overall the Spyderco Yurco Ginunting is a striking functional expression of a classic cultural pattern available for sale at ARMSAGORA.
