P. Stevens Maastricht ~ Dutch Beaumount-Vitali 1875 ~ 11.3X54R MM

This Dutch Beaumount-Vitali 1875 was made in 1875 by P. Stevens Maastricht. The serial number is 800. Most of these rifles started their life as single shot and were converted to bolt actions around 1890. They also saw action through World War I but were eventually outclassed by the Mauser's, Enfield's and Springfield's. Most of these were the 11.3X51R MM caliber, HOWEVER, buyer, with any of the guns from this time period, must confirm the caliber before shooting. The wood stock is in very good condition and the cartouche on the butt stock is still visible. An unusual system, the bolt spring is housed in the bolt handle.
