Description
The Stevens 334 is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .270 Winchester, built as a hunting rifle with a 20-inch heavy sporter barrel. It uses a 60-degree bolt lift with three locking lugs to shorten bolt throw and speed cycling between shots. The free-floating, button-rifled carbon steel barrel is isolated from the stock along its full length, and its 1:10 twist rate suits a wide range of .270 Win bullet weights. The 11-degree target crown protects the muzzle from damage.
The receiver is drilled and tapped in Savage M110 spacing and comes with a steel MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail already mounted, so optics can be fitted without gunsmithing. The detachable three-round box magazine, ambidextrous magazine release, and three-position top tang safety suit both left- and right-handed shooters. The fixed Turkish walnut stock has a satin finish, a rubber recoil pad, and a 14.5-inch length of pull. Two sling swivel studs are installed.
