Like all the shotguns in the M3000 line, the M3000 Defense is powered by Stoeger's Inertia-Driven system - a simple, ultra-reliable action that runs clean, fast, and reliably with vast array of different cartridges. The Inertia-Driven System uses fewer parts, and eliminates the need for gas cylinders, o-rings, and other complicated parts which makes it more reliable. Other features of the M3000 Defense Shotgun include thick rubber recoil pad to absorb recoil, and a simple blade-sight for fast target acquisition. In addition, the M3000 Defense Shotgun ships with a shim kit, allowing the user to adjust the fit of the gun for drop and cast.
