In the simplest terms, it's a polymer-framed, striker-fired 9mm pistol that borrows a number of features from the G19 and comes in at almost the exact size as the G19. But it's also loaded with extra features that make it combat-ready. First up, the STR-9S features a 4.67" barrel with 1/2x28 threads that accommodate a suppressor or muzzle brake. Up top, the suppressor-height green fiber optic sights are fully adjustable and provide you with capable targeting, even when you're running a suppressor. Of course, if you'd prefer, the optics cut accommodates a wide range of red dots with 4 included plates-so mounting an optic is easy. The carbon steel slide features rounded top edges for comfort during periods of extended concealed carry, while deep-cut front and rear slide serrations provide plenty of grip space for working the slide. The grip is nicely textured without being overly aggressive, and thumb imprints on either side make the STR-9S comfortable to shoot for extended periods. The package includes small, medium and large backstraps, so you can customize the grip to your liking.
