Description
The Streamlight Sidewinder Stalk Helmet Light is a coyote-colored helmet-mounted light designed to reduce the number of illuminators and beacons a user must carry. Its flexible stalk lets the beam be aimed where it is needed, supporting hands-free lighting.
The light is built from polymer and weighs 2.88 ounces, with an overall length of 5.51 inches. A separate three-position switch operates the main light and an Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) strobe, which can be used together when needed. The housing is dust-tight and waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes and is impact tested to 3 meters.
The light mounts with a clip to a helmet or MOLLE vest and also fits an Arc rail. It accepts more than one battery type, and its LEDs include white, infrared, red, blue and green.
