Description
The Streamlight TLR-8 X G Sub is a rail-mounted weapon light with an integrated green laser, built for subcompact handguns with a short Picatinny rail. It provides a 500-lumen light output with a 5,000-candela, 141-meter beam, and the green laser can be used on its own for aiming.
The light runs on one CR123A lithium battery, included, or on a Streamlight SL-B9 protected lithium-ion USB-C rechargeable battery pack. Runtime is listed at 1.5 hours on CR123A and 1 hour on the SL-B9, with laser mode running 11 hours. The housing is machined, anodized aluminum in black and weighs 2.77 ounces.
The rail grip clamp attaches and detaches without placing hands in front of the muzzle. Ambidextrous rear paddle switches offer HIGH and LOW output, and a safe-off feature helps prevent accidental activation. Compatible handguns include GLOCK 43X/48 MOS and Rail models, SIG P365 and P365 XL with closed rail systems, the Springfield Hellcat, and select 1913 short-railed subcompacts.
