The Strike Industries Mass Driver Compensator represents a drastic leap in compensator design. This compensator is driven by the hot gasses expelled through the barrel. It acts as a counter balance system to lessen mechanical recoil. Traditional barrel mounted compensators add reciprocating mass and increase inertia to the operating system. This can have a negative effect on reliable cycling of recoil operated handguns. The Mass Driver comp allows for close to stock cyclic speeds and reduces reciprocating mass.
