It is designed for a smooth, low-drag, no-snag profile during magazine changes and includes a steel locking plate with a hook design for added retention under a fully loaded magazine.
The plate adds 6 rounds to a Glock 17 9mm magazine and 5 rounds to a Glock 22 .40 S&W magazine, with a total capacity of 6 rounds as listed. It is intended for use with OEM Glock magazines. The steel locking plate is included with the plate.
