Description
The Strike Industries AR-15 Picatinny Stock Adapter is a black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum adapter that replaces the standard receiver extension on an AR-style lower. It lets the user mount a 1913 Picatinny stock or stabilizer assembly directly to the rear of the lower, and is intended for AR platforms that do not need an in-line buffer and buffer spring to cycle.
The adapter threads into the rear of an AR-15 or AR-10 lower receiver using a standard 1 3/16"-16 HSS right-hand thread. It includes an anti-loosening detent that keeps the rear detent spring captured for the rear takedown pin. The Picatinny section has a 4-slot rail, and a 360-degree free-swivel quick-detach socket can be oriented to either side.
The adapter is compatible with most folding stocks and stabilizers on the market.
