SureFire ProComp 7.62mm 5/8x24 Muzzle Brake

The SureFire ProComp is a muzzle brake for 7.62mm AR-10 and LR-308 rifles, intended to reduce recoil impulse and muzzle rise so the rifle tracks straight back for faster shot-to-shot recovery. Its neutral porting distributes brake loads evenly, which suits shooters who run supported positions on a bipod.

The brake is machined from US mill-certified steel and finished in black Melonite for corrosion and abrasion resistance. It threads onto 5/8x24 barrels, measures 2.70 inches long, and weighs 3.10 ounces. Blind pilot holes at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions allow recoil tuning with a hand drill, and a 6 o'clock hole supports bottom-dead-center indexing for pin-and-weld installation on short-barreled rifles. It is not suppressor compatible.
