SureFire ProComp 556 Muzzle Brake 5.56 1/2-28 Black Melonite

The SureFire ProComp 556 is a steel muzzle brake for AR-15 platform rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington. It is intended to reduce recoil and muzzle climb during rapid fire by redirecting gas through a Impulse Diffusion braking geometry based on the SOCOM SFMB design.

The brake is precision machined from mill-certified steel bar stock with high-precision cut threads in 1/2-28 pitch and measures 2.5 inches overall. It has a black Melonite finish for heat and corrosion resistance, and a blind pilot hole that allows recoil characteristics to be tuned for different shooting styles or ammunition. It is not compatible with suppressors.
