Description
The SureFire SOCOM556-MINI4 is a compact 5.56mm suppressor in Flat Dark Earth Cerakote, built for rifles chambered in 223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO. It is intended for users who want reduced length and reduced sound without giving up flash control on duty and field rifles.
The suppressor is constructed from Inconel, a high-temperature superalloy, and measures 5.5 inches overall with a 1.5-inch diameter. It weighs 14.5 ounces and adds about 3 inches to the weapon. The manufacturer states that its gas-flow design reduces back pressure by approximately 60 percent. It mounts with the Fast-Attach quick-detach system.
It fits SOCOM Fast-Attach muzzle devices, including the SF3P FH556RC and WARCOMP open-tine flash hiders, and is optimized for flash suppression on barrels 10.3 inches or longer and sound suppression on barrels 14.5 inches or longer. A factory-supplied attachment is included.
