Description
The SureFire EP7 Sonic Defenders Ultra are reusable foam-tipped earplugs designed to protect hearing while still allowing routine sounds and conversation to be heard. Sounds at safe levels pass through to the ear canal, while potentially harmful noises above 85 dB are reduced by a built-in noise-reducing filter.
The medium-size pair is black, with a Noise Reduction Rating of 28 dB. Attached filter caps can be inserted for additional protection against lower-level noise, such as aircraft cabin sound, where hearing ambient conversation is not critical. The left and right earpieces are color-coded, and the body is made from a soft, hypoallergenic polymer.
