As part of the Performance Center family of firearms, the Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 627 V-Comp Single/Double Action Revolver has been hand cut, inspected, and fine-tuned with close attention to detail. In other words, this model has been crafted from the ground up and is ready to deliver peak performance right out of the box. Its chrome hammer and trigger with trigger stop resist wear, tear, and corrosion. It's hand-tuned single/double action offers ultra-reliable operation. The removable barrel compensator redirects propellant gasses to counter recoil for dramatically decreased muzzle rise. The cylinder has been cut to accept moon clips (2 clips included) for simultaneous ammo insertions and extractions. Synthetic grip with finger grooves creates secure contact and exceptional shooting control. The cylinder, barrel, and 2-tone frame are all made with the strength of stainless steel.
