Swift A-Frame .30 Caliber / .308 165 Grain 50-Count JSP

Swift A-Frame Features The Swift A-Frame bullet is built around a jacket and core design that addresses two of the biggest challenges in big game bullet performance: controlled expansion and reliable penetration. The soft semi-Spitzer lead nose runs the full length from tip to base which protects the bullet from deforming due to recoil while seated in a magazine an important detail for hunters carrying loaded rounds through rough terrain. The pure copper jacket is tapered at the tip specifically to control the rate of expansion helping the bullet perform consistently whether impact velocity is high or has dropped off at extended range. This consistency gives handloaders a dependable platform to build accurate hunting loads around. Tapering at the base of the core is engineered to generate the momentum needed for deep penetration on tough heavily muscled game a critical factor when shot placement is less than ideal. A wraparound jacket at the base further reinforces this performance by retaining the bullet s original weight and preventing premature core and jacket separation on impact. At 165 grains in the .30 caliber / .308 inch bore this bullet is sized for popular .30-caliber rifle cartridges favored by big game hunters. Sold in a box of 50 for handloaders building their own ammunition the Swift A-Frame is available for sale at ARMSAGORA.
