The Tacticool22 Bayonet Muzzle Ring Sleeve, also known as a Bayonet Barrel Adapter, is designed to allow a standard M16 bayonet to mount to a 16" carbine. The sleeve slips over the barrel, filling the space in the bayonet ring. This prevents the bayonet from moving around excessively.At less than an ounce, this AR-15 bayonet barrel adapter is very light weight. Fits standard 3/4a ^2 barrels with 1/2-28 threads, such as the S&W M&P15 in .223/5.56. It is also easy to put on.
