Description
This is a one-piece Picatinny scope base from Talley Manufacturing, designed to mount directly to the receiver of a Remington 700 long action rifle. It gives the shooter a rail for attaching an optic, with the 20 MOA elevated design intended to help bring a scope's zero into range at longer distances.
The base is machined from 7129 aluminum and has a black matte finish. It measures 7.03 inches overall and uses a Picatinny rail with numerous slots, so ring position can be chosen along the rail. It accepts Picatinny and most Weaver-style rings, and mounting hardware is included.
The base fits Remington 700 long action receivers and also fits the Bergara B14 long action.
