Tapco Muzzle Brake Gold 1/2x28 for Ruger 10/22 .22 LR

Tapco Muzzle Brake Features The Tapco Muzzle Brake is machined from lightweight aluminum and sized specifically to fit .920 inch diameter bull barrels the common profile found on many Ruger 10/22 rifles built for accuracy work. Its ported design is intended to reduce muzzle jump and felt recoil which helps a shooter track the sights and get back on target faster for repeat shots on a rimfire platform. At just 2 inches overall the brake adds minimal length to the muzzle while still delivering its intended recoil reducing effect. The 1/2x28 thread pattern is a widely used standard so installation is straightforward on any barrel already cut to that thread. Finished in gold anodizing the brake gives an otherwise plain bull barrel a distinctive accent that stands out against the typical black furniture of a 10/22 style rifle. Aluminum construction keeps the added weight at the muzzle to a minimum which matters on a rifle where balance affects handling during offhand or rested shooting. Because it is designed around the Ruger 10/22 platform the brake drops on without the need for additional gunsmithing on correctly threaded barrels. Shooters who want to dress up their rimfire rifle while also gaining a functional reduction in muzzle movement will find this an easy affordable upgrade.
