Description
The Taran Tactical Innovations Firepower Base Pad is a magazine component for full size double stack Glock pistols chambered in 9mm Luger and 40 S&W. It fits over the magazine base and works with the stock magazine spring to increase capacity, bringing a magazine to 21 plus 1 rounds in 9mm or 18 plus 1 rounds in 40 S&W.
The base pad is machined from aluminum and finished with a hard anodized OD Green coating. It weighs 1.6 ounces. A push pin design lets it attach and detach without special tools, and its one piece construction avoids small loose parts during disassembly. The manufacturer states it is built to the USPSA 140mm gauge.
