Taran Tactical Innovations Glock 17 Complete 9mm 23-Round Magazine with +5/+6 Base Pad Black

Taran Tactical Innovation Magazine for Glock 17/34 Features The Taran Tactical Innovations Magazine builds on a factory Glock 17/34 magazine body by adding a CNC machined billet aluminum base pad finished in a black matte coating. The added mass at the base of the magazine helps it drop free from the gun faster and more consistently a small but meaningful advantage during competition reloads where every tenth of a second counts. The pad uses a patented push pin design that locks securely in place yet can be removed by hand with no specialty tools making maintenance and cleaning simple. Because it is a one piece design there are no small internal parts to lose during disassembly which keeps the magazine easier to service in the field or at the range. This magazine holds 23 plus 1 rounds of 9mm giving shooters extended capacity over a stock Glock magazine while still meeting the USPSA 140mm gauge length limit for competition legality. The overall weight of the assembled magazine is approximately 4 ounces and the base pad extends roughly 1.5 inches on the front side and 0.75 inches on the back. Every pad is made in the USA and hard anodized for a durable long lasting finish that resists wear from repeated handling and reloads. This combination of extended capacity and a fast dropping base pad makes it a strong choice for USPSA and similar competitive shooters running a Glock platform.
