Taran Tactical Innovation Firepower Base Pad Kit Features The Taran Tactical Innovations Firepower Base Pad Kit extends a full-size M&P 9/40 magazine by +2 or +4 rounds giving competitors and defensive shooters more rounds on tap without switching to an entirely different magazine. It is designed to work with the stock magazine spring so there is no need to source a stronger aftermarket spring to run the extended capacity reliably. The kit measures 1 and 1/2 inches on the front side and 1 inch on the back side and it fits the USPSA 140mm gauge keeping the magazine legal for Production Division competition. CNC machining from billet aluminum and a hard anodized finish give the base pad the durability to handle repeated use and hard drops during a match. A patented push-pin design lets the base pad attach and detach from the magazine easily with no specialty tools or devices required to disassemble it.
