Taurus Model 66 Single-Action/Double-Action Revolver is a full-size sidearm suited for field carry and home defense. The medium frame revolver holds 7 rounds of powerful .357 magnum ammo, or .38 Special. The frame, cylinder, and barrel are constructed of steel, with a blued finish. Rubber grips absorb recoil and enhance user control. A full-lug ejector rod housing puts weight out front to minimize muzzle flip. The Model 66 revolver comes with a fully adjustable rear sight and a ramp front sight. An exposed hammer allows you to cock and fire the revolver in single-action mode; and a transfer bar safety mechanism prevents the hammer from striking the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled fully to the rear. The Model 66 also utilizes the Taurus Security System (TSS), enabling you to disable the weapon completely with the turn of a key.
