This attractive, medium sized revolver is equipped with a wood grip made by Altamont, and features texturing in key areas, finger grooves, and a sizable palm swell – together, these features make the Defender 856 comfortably fit the shooter hand. The frame, cylinder, and barrel are made from high-strength stainless steel, and all feature a Tungsten Cerakote finish that both looks good and provides outstanding resistance to the elements, abrasion, and scratches. Other features of the Defender 856 include an easy to use trench sight, and a front night sight to promote greater accuracy in low-light environments.
