Taurus Judge Public Defender 45 Colt/410 Bore 2.5" 5-Round Revolver

The Taurus Judge Public Defender is a compact five-shot revolver chambered for 45 Colt and 410 bore shotshells, built as a scaled-down version of the Judge combo gun for self-defense. It uses a double-action/single-action trigger system and a blued finish with a black polymer frame.

Key specifications include a 2.5-inch barrel, an overall length of 7.65 inches, a weight of 1.69 pounds, and a fiber optic front sight. The 410 bore chamber accepts 2.5-inch shells, and the cylinder holds five rounds. The reduced-profile hammer is designed to avoid snagging when drawn.

The revolver includes the Taurus Security System, a key-operated lock that disables firing and cocking when engaged.
