Description
The Taurus Raging Hunter is a 44 Magnum double-action/single-action revolver intended for short to medium range hunting and as a hunting sidearm. It uses a steel barrel sleeve set into an aluminum housing to reduce overall weight, and it features factory porting with a gas expansion chamber intended to reduce muzzle lift. The barrel includes a Picatinny rail for mounting optics.
The revolver has an 8.37-inch barrel, a 14.1-inch overall length, and a 6-round cylinder chambered in 44 Remington Magnum. It has fixed front and adjustable rear sights, a steel frame and cylinder with a matte black oxide finish, a manual thumb safety, an exposed hammer, and a black rubber grip with an integrated red cushion insert.
