Description
The Taurus 692 is a seven-shot, double-action/single-action revolver built for everyday carry, personal and home defense, and range practice. It has a 3-inch barrel and a matte stainless steel finish.
The revolver weighs 2.19 pounds and measures 8.14 inches overall. It has a fixed front sight and an adjustable rear sight, a spurred hammer, and a Ribber grip. The ported barrel is intended to reduce recoil and help with quicker target re-acquisition.
The 692 is multi-caliber. It fires .357 Magnum and .38 Special, and a 9mm Luger cylinder is included for switching calibers. Two moon clips are provided with each revolver.
