Description
The Taurus Model 66 is a 7-round double-action/single-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum, built on a steel frame with a matte black oxide finish. It is offered for personal defense, target shooting and hunting use.
The 4-inch barrel gives an overall length of 10.5 inches and a listed weight of 2.38 pounds. Sights are a fixed front and an adjustable rear. The action is DA/SA with an exposed hammer and a transfer bar safety, and the black finger-grooved rubber grips are fitted to a medium frame.
Because the cylinder is chambered for .357 Magnum, the revolver also accepts .38 Special +P ammunition.
