Taylors & Company 1873 Cattleman 45 Colt 3.5" 6-Round Revolver

Taylors and Co 1873 Cattleman Features The Taylors and Co 1873 Cattleman is a single action revolver chambered in .45 Colt built with a forged steel frame finished in a distinctive case hardened coloring that gives each gun a one of a kind mottled appearance. A 3.5 blued steel barrel with six lands and grooves and a 1x16 right hand twist provides accurate reliable performance downrange. The blued steel cylinder is half fluted reducing weight while retaining strength and rotates to feed a 6 round capacity. A retractable firing pin mounted on the hammer serves as the revolver s safety mechanism a design carried over from the earliest Cattleman models. The birdshead grip shape gives this Cattleman its distinctive small compact profile often referred to as a belly gun look due to its ease of carry and quick presentation. A smooth walnut grip completes the classic aesthetic while providing a comfortable secure hold during firing. Fixed sights including a fixed blade front sight and a notch cut into the frame for the rear keep the design simple and rugged in the tradition of the original single action revolvers.
