Taylors and Company 1873 Trapper Walnut 45 Colt 18" 10-Round Lever Action Rifle

Taylors and Company 1873 Trapper Features The Taylors and Company 1873 Trapper is built around a true lever-action design chambered in .45 Colt offering a smooth-cycling repeater with a 10 round tubular magazine capacity for extended range sessions or competition stages. The Taylor Tuned option applies a custom action job with hand polishing lightened components and custom hammer and lever springs producing one of the smoothest trigger and lever pulls available on a reproduction lever gun. A dovetail front blade sight pairs with an adjustable buckhorn rear sight for quick repeatable target acquisition at typical cowboy action distances. The 18 inch octagonal barrel with a 1:16 right-hand twist is bored to 0.442 inches and finished in deep blued steel for classic good looks and corrosion resistance. Checkered walnut covers both the buttstock and forend giving the 1873 Trapper genuine period styling along with a secure confident grip during rapid-fire strings. The casehardened steel frame and triggerguard provide a striking case-color contrast against the blued barrel and blued steel buttplate a hallmark of the original 1873 design. At 36.87 inches overall the Trapper s shorter profile makes it easy to maneuver in tight stages or truck-gun storage while retaining full-size handling characteristics. Built for cowboy action competitors and collectors who appreciate a well-tuned lever gun the 1873 Trapper is available for sale at ARMSAGORA.
