The Taylor's & Co 1873 Cattleman New Model Revolver is the most accurate reproduction of the peacemaker that won the west. Available in two finish options; The Nickel finish cattleman features quality plating with charcoal blue screws. All nickel finish cattlemans are built on new model forged frames with several grip options to choose from. The Charcoal Blue finish is a delicate over-oxidized bluing applied to new model forged frame cattlemans. When new it is a bright blue color and over time with use it will naturally patina to a soft grey. All parts are charcoal blued except for the case hardened frame and hammer. The aging process takes a long time with this finish, but is very beautiful. The custom grip options are hand-fit at the factory for an overall supreme finish on these revolvers. All of the grips are one-piece and the standard Navy size found on the cattleman model.
