TCS 28 Gauge #8-32 Patch Jag, Blue

The 28 Gauge shotgun patch jag is specifically engineered for cleaning 28 Gauge shotgun barrels. These patch jags apply a solvent- or bore paste-treated patch against the barrel and into the rifling, effectively removing carbon, plastic and copper deposits from the bore. For expedited cleaning, 0000-grade mild steel wool or fine brass wool can be used over the patch instead of a brush to dislodge debris. In a demonstration, the patch was used without solvent and pushed through the barrel once, showcasing the superior cleaning capability of these jags compared to others on the market. The proof is on the patch. Beyond cleaning, these jags are also suitable for oiling the bore for storage and removing oil prior to firing. The shotgun jags are compatible with all standard rods featuring 5/16-27 threads. It is recommended to purchase USP bore paste and round TCS patches for shotguns, as these patches are optimally sized for use with our jags.
