R.E. Terni ~ 91 Cav ~ 6.5 CAR

This R.E. Terni Model 91 CAV carbine chambered in 6.5 Carcano is a classic Italian military surplus rifle offered in good vintage condition. The rifle retains its original military configuration, including the folding bayonet assembly, military sights, and hardwood stock. Visible finish wear, handling marks, and stock dings are consistent with age and service use, giving the firearm strong collector appeal. Manufactured by Regio Esercito Terni (R.E. Terni), this Model 91 Cavalry Carbine was produced for Italian military service. The receiver markings indicate a manufacture date of 1936, placing production during the interwar period prior to World War II. The M91 Cavalry Carbine was designed as a compact, fast-handling rifle for mounted troops and became one of the most recognizable variants of the Italian Carcano family, serving through World War II and remaining a popular military surplus collectible today.
