R.E. Terni Rifle, 6.5 x 52, 21″ Barrel

The R.E. Terni 6.5x52mm Carcano with a 21-inch barrel refers to a prominent World War II Italian military configuration, most commonly designated as the Carcano Model 91/38 Fucile Corto (Short Rifle) or certain variants of the Model 91 TS (Truppe Speciali) Carbine. Manufactured by the Regia Fabbrica d'Armi di Terni in Italy, these firearms are historically significant pieces of military surplus engineered to be more compact and maneuverable than the original, full-length 1891 infantry rifles.
