Thompson Center ~ Contender ~ .30-30 Winchester

A hunting tool designed to be portable and unique, the Contender by Thompson Center is a single-shot, break-action firearm platform designed to have its barrel and stock easily swapped out to be made in either a rifle or pistol form. This model has been constructed as a pistol with a comfortable wood handgrip, 10" pistol barrel, full-length of 14", and a weight of 4 lbs. The scope is a Burris 2x-7x Handgun model with a simple duplex sight picture, mounted with high-set Leupold scope rings. The pistol has remained in beautiful condition, with a few wear marks to the wood furniture, while the blued metal and engravings have held up with a few minor scratches around the break action. Rifling is perfectly intact. Included is a heavy-duty hard case for transport. Chambered in .30-30 Winchester.
